Temporary Support Staff – Part Time (Engineering/Plant Maintenance)

Wilbur Wright College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, seeks Temporary Support Staff – Part Time in support of the Engineering/Plant Maintenance Department to provide special support in the area maintenance during the summer months.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Assists with completing projects related to the maintenance of building and grounds operations.

·         Notifies the engineering staff of any abnormalities.

·         Paints interior walls, perform other touch ups repairs.

·         Performs small projects as assigned.

·         Performs landscaping maintenance.

·         Manages time wisely, remains productive while working independently.

·         Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.

·         Performs related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Graduation from high school or the equivalent is preferred.

·         Must be customer service oriented.

·         Must possess a high level of accuracy and neatness.

·         Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, and stretching.

·         Ability to analyze and solve problems.

·         Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

·         Ability to work in a diverse environment.
