PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Reporting to an assigned administrator, an Intern-PT assists with general office duties and activities as determined and directed by the supervisor and supports the strategic plans and mission of the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assists staff in the day-to-day functions of the office, including general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Provides support on various projects and assignments as needed.
- Develops and maintains project work plans and action plans with clear deliverables and timelines.
- Attends meetings as requested to obtain information pertinent to assignments.
- Conducts research and analysis related to various projects and the strategic plan and mission of the District.
- Communicates with various internal and external constituents to gather data and information for use by administrators.
- Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Reports To Assigned Administrator
Direct Supervision None
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program and maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Candidates who have either completed an Associates degree or have earned a minimum of 60 credit hours, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.0, and who intend to transfer to a 4-year institution, will also be considered. Completion of a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate required.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
$17.00 - $18.00
Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as other factors such as internal equity.
