ENGINEER – TRAINEE FULL TIME

Wilbur Wright College is seeking Engineer Trainees (2 positions). The Engineer Trainee will get real hands-on experience to sharpen their skills as they advance to the next career level. The Engineer Trainee provides efficient and professional engineering services for the maintenance of the building and grounds of the College.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Maintains the building equipment and machinery to keep them in excellent working condition.

·       Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.

·       Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Current listing on the Local # 399’s Apprenticeship List is required.

·       Knowledge of building operations, systems and equipment repair methods with mechanical ability required.

·       Must possess a high school diploma or the equivalent.

SALARY AND BENEFITS INFORMATION

·       The starting salary for this position is $18.50 hourly.

·       The rate paid is in accordance with the respective bargaining agreement.

WORK SCHEDULE

·       Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm

·       Flexibility required as needed.

Chicago residency is required for all full-time employees within six (6) months of hire.
