TRANSFER INNOVATION IMPACT MODEL GRANT 
OLIVE-HARVEY COLLEGE
 
Olive-Harvey College is looking for a Director of Student Development Projects. This is a student-facing post-award position that reports to the Vice President of Student Affairs. The Director will complete all transactional activities as it relates to the Transfer Innovation Impact Model Grant, including direct support to students in processing incentives based on transfer milestone achievements. The Director will implement learning and engagement sessions for students and families focused on transfer processes, career exploration, financial aid, and academic planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Transfer Center, First-Year Experience & Partnerships
- Provide oversight for all grant-related activities in close collaboration with the Transfer Center, First-Year Experience program, and university and organizational partners.
- Coordinate efforts across departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Ensure timely implementation of initiatives that support seamless transfer pathways in Health Sciences and STEM.
- Monitor progress and track milestones to maintain accountability and momentum.
- Attend bi-weekly stakeholder meetings to stay informed and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Engage in goal-oriented planning to align transfer initiatives with project goals.
- Collect and analyze data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
 
Budget Administration & Management
·         Complete requisitions for spending and/or work with other departments who complete requisitions to spend items from the budget.
·         Monitor grant funding spending to ensure departments are spending for their projects and within the internal timeframe so funds are spent in a timely manner to meet grant goals.
·         Submit student account information in conjunction with the business office to process stipends, and other benefits.
·         Serve as a thought leader to the Executive Director on spending and making recommendations for maximizing spending by evaluations surpluses and overspending as it relates to grant expenditures
·         Assist with budget modifications
·         Present on budget status, spending performance and barriers to spending based on milestones
·         Coordinates with the business office, specifically the Grants Manager and Business Analyst on procurement processes as it relates to grant spending
·         Makes recommendations on how to improve and streamline spending and budget management
·         Tracks spending in real time to ensure team members responsible for spending on the grant follow the vendor approval, spending and contract review and approval processes to ensure spending is accruing
·         Develops, makes recommendations and completes budget transfers and journal entries to ensure efficient and accurate cost accounting
QUALIFICATIONS: 
·         A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
·         Four years of work experience in administering a program(s) for a non-profit, social services, government or educational organization
·         Strong project management abilities
·         A combination of education and experience may be taken into consideration based on the applicant’s credentials
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary: $63,394.00 - $68,000.00 annually
Offered salary will be determined by the respective collective bargaining agreement and applicant's education.
