CONTINUING EDUCATION - INSTRUCTOR (PART TIME)
TRUMAN COLLEGE 

Consider joining Truman College's Continuing Education Department as a Part-Time instructor. We are looking for dedicated and personable instructors, who want to teach to students of all ages and share their real-world experiences with a classroom of eager learners. 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Develop curriculum and weekly lesson plans that are age and experience appropriate.

·       Deliver classes in-person onsite and remotely

·       Ability to teach using different methods to meet students' needs and abilities.

·       Inspire, motivate and foster confidence in all students.

·       Adhere to the City Colleges of Chicago code of ethics, board rules, policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor's degree preferred

·       Three years teaching and/or training experience.

·       Degree or certification in preferred teaching area.

·       Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse group of students and staff.

·       Inspire, motivate and foster confidence in all students.
